Alert Link: link to be insert by the streamers in OBS to make donations visible in the livestream.
Admin Area for Streamer: Section of the 8pay site where the streamer can generate his links and view the history of the donations received.
Blacklist: List of words or address the streamers want to blacklist.
Text-to-Speech: (Italian — English), streamers can select the text to be played when a donation is made.
Alert Variations: streamers can select their favorite GIF Animation during the live stream, setting up a maximum of 4 alert variations with custom amount per animation.
Custom profile picture: streamers can customise their profile picture in the checkout page.
Network and Fees
8PAY is currently live on Binance Smart Chain, this means users can currently donate BEP20 tokens directly from their Metamask or Trustwallet to the streamer’s wallet.
8PAY plans to expand to Ethereum and Polygon soon, increasing the tokens and options to donate.
8PAY charges only a 1% fee for each donation. If a user would like to donate 10 USDT, they will pay 10 USDT + blockchain transaction cost (current average around $0,15 on Binance smart chain) and the streamer will receive 9,90 USDT.
This is a great reduction in fees compared to Twitch Bits where Twitch takes a 30% cut and Paypal charging $0,48 + 2,49 % per transaction.
In conclusion, 8PAY will allows frictionless multi chain crypto donations at a lower fee, with the same features of traditional donation such as overlay live text, allowing also the unbanked to use crypto to support their favorite streamers.
